World of Dance Spotlight: Les Twins

Larry and Laurent Nicols Bourgeois, French identical twins born December 6th, 1988, show us what it means to be a dynamic duo. Growing up with a large family consisting of nine siblings, it only makes sense that they find the most eclectic way to stand out. They never received formal dance training but instead use self-taught dance techniques. Combiningbreaking, popping, locking, and ballet they create the unique style that forms their brand today.
Moving on to their dance careers, Les Twins begins at 17 years old in 2005. The twins recruited five other members to perform at dance tournaments, thus founding the “Criminalz Crew.”In 2008, the twins made their national appearance on La France A Un Incroyable Talent, the French version of America’s Got Talent. At the World of Dance tour in 2020, Les Twins showcased their best moves. The people loved them as much as we did, and became a global sensation overnight. Following that TV debut, they are our very own NBC season 1 World of Dance winners from 2017! The two won a cash prize of one million dollars. It’s only fitting their last dance was to Michael and Jackson’s Scream/Little Susie - Immortal Version. Let me repeat that… They’ve worked with QUEEN B. A few music videos they’ve worked on are Run the World, andJealous, while also touring the world with her.Speaking of celeb collabs, Les Twins landed a sponsorship with Jordans shoes titled Les Twins x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Fearless”. Launching their acting careers, in June 2019 Les Twins were cast inMen in Black: International. They play extremely powerful and intelligent alien duo antagonists. That same year, cast as Plato and Socrates for the film Cats, the twins made their mark on the industry.What's next for Les Twins?
