What Season did you appear on?
I appeared on Season 2 of NBC’s World Of Dance as Victoria Caban, known as the flamenco dancer.
What has life been like since appearing on NBC’s World Of Dance?
Since appearing on NBC’s World Of Dance there have been many opportunities and new doors that have opened for me. I have met new people and new dancers from around the world. Life has been nothing but amazing and surreal because of the opportunity I was given to be a part of season 2.
What have been some of the biggest changes/opportunities that have happened?
Some of the changes/opportunities that have happened for me was being able to be a part of my very first movie, In The Heights. Which comes out June 2020 I would’ve never thought that I’d be in such an inspiring and incredible movie. I’ve gone to many conventions this past summer and have been awarded Entourage at The Main Event created by Brian Friedman. When I was younger I dreamed of training and getting to work up close with Brian Friedman for a long time. I am truly grateful for everything that has happened.
What is your best memory being on the show?
Some of the best memories of being on the show was getting to know new dancers, being inspired by others, and dancing in front of one of my biggest idols Jennifer Lopez. It truly was a dream come true, and one of the biggest moments of my dance career.
Would you ever consider competing on NBC’s World of Dance again?
I would definitely consider competing on NBC’s World Of Dance again because seeing how far I pushed myself in season two I would love to show the judges how much I’ve grown and matured over these past few years.
What have you been up to since you appeared on the show?
Since I’ve appeared on the show I’ve been more interested in teaching classes and creating to inspire. I’ve been to many conventions pushed myself to train hard and really focus on my craft. Along with training, I’ve been given the opportunity to be a part of a big movie coming out in 2020.
What are your future plans/goals?
Some of the future plans/goals that I have set for myself is to create more and inspire other dancers. In the future I hope to continue my dance career in California and train as much as I can. My dream goal is to become a professional dancer for an artist, or potentially be an artist. I have such a deep and passionate love for dance and singing. Another dream goal is to be able to one day actually dance side by side with JLo on stage. (Super Bowl, on the WOD show or even at a concert).
Anything else you think I readers would like to know?
I would love for readers to know that hard work and dedication is something that you should always carry in your life, you never know when an opportunity will come knocking on your door. Never to give up on any dream. Stay focused push hard. Love yourself.
