The World of Dance Championship Series made its way back to Arizona this year, attracting some potentially promising competitors for a chance to compete in our annual World Championships.#WODAZ18 did not disappoint! Team Division Winners
1st Place: Elektrolytes
After winning second place last year at WODAZ17, Elektrolytes came back with an impeccable performance, earning a very well-deserved first place this year!One of the largest teams competing this far, each one of its multiple members displayed a flawless synchronization of movements, making the crowd go crazy for a full four-minute long routine. 2nd Place: United Prospects

3rd Place: Tequila Movement
Winning third place this year, Tequila Movement had a lot to offer with their creative use of bandannas as props. The team also won Crowd Favorite and Best Costume!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRDerp6veEUAbout the World of Dance Championship SeriesThe World of Dance Championship Series presented by Paul Mitchell is a worldwide series of competitions and lifestyle events representing the culture, artistry, and athleticism of dance.With roots in urban, hip hop, and street dance, these regional dance competitions now attract 100,000+ competitors and fans to events in more than 25 countries. Our goal: To embrace, engage, and develop the next generation through the power of expression while providing a stage for the most elite dancers in the world.Dancers compete in one of the following divisions: Upper Division, Junior Division, Junior Team Division, or Team Division. Earning a score of 80 points or higher qualifies the competitors for the World of Dance Championships, held annually. The Winners Circle is presented by CCILU Footwear. Additional recognition is awarded for Best Costume, Best Theme, and Crowd Favorite. In select markets, dancers may also compete in one-on-one all styles freestyle battles.
