Have you always wanted to be a part of World of Dance? Now’s your chance! We’re looking to build our team of volunteers for everything from helping at live events to writing for our website. For those of you with writing experience, an interest in dance, and want to grow your portfolio, writing for This is WOD is the perfect opportunity.

Looking for a way to build your online writing portfolio while also writing about something you LOVE? (Trust us, it’s awesome.) Check out more info on what it takes to write for us below. Necessary Qualifications:
- Excellent writing + research skills
- Understanding of social media: Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Previous blogging experience
- Passion for dance, fashion, music, specifically hip-hop
Required Tasks:
- Assist editors in writing blog posts
- Contact artists, designers, and photographers for interviews
- Own + manage your chosen beat/content vertical (make it your own!)
- Adhere to deadlines and stick to an editorial calendar
