WOD: Can you give us a little background about the crew? How long have you been together/how did you meet?Revolution Family: Revolution Family was founded 4 years ago but with constantly changing members--only a few remained the same. This show and group started 3-4 months ago, and they all part of Revolution Dance Studio, that’s how everybody meet.WOD: What were you feeling going into the competition?RF: We love going to competition and every year we struggle to make ourselves better and better. We had goosebumps and we were very nervous for this years World of Dance because we really wanted to have the opportunity to represent our country at World of Dance World Finals.

WOD: What is your favorite part of competing in World of Dance?RF: We love that we got the freedom to express whatever and however we wanted. There are no strict rules (in WOD) that slow or limit our freedom of creativity. We like that we can be ourselves and that we can express exactly what we want and how we want through dance.WOD: What part of your dance, choreography, or performance are you most proud of?RF: All of it, it’s a very different concept compared to the others we did in previous years and we are very very proud of ourselves. We like the vibe and the theme of this choreography.WOD: What exciting things will you be doing/focusing on in the next year?RF: We want to keep growing and past our expectation every single year. We are NOW focusing on raising money so we can come to America and represent our country at the highest level on the biggest stage in the world, at World of Dance World Finals, it’s a dream that started 4 years ago but we really really wanna do it this year and we are fighting for it.

WOD: Why do you think dance is important to the world?RF: We think dance is important because of many aspects, for example in our case it gave us very much confidence in us, and we see life different now, it gives you the chance to express your feelings and your deepest thoughts through movement and you can actually inspire others by doing that, it helps your body condition also and brings JOY and EMOTIONS to everybody, dancers and audience. We think is magic.WOD: What’s your favorite part about being a crew?RF: We are not just a crew and like the name says...Revolution FAMILY, we are a #family and wethink that says it all.

WOD: Anything else you’d like to add?RF: It’s a very big opportunity for us to participate and get on the biggest stage in the world and also very very hard because our country doesn’t support any activity like this for no dance artists and would be an occasion for us to prove that they should turn their attention and support the young generation of artists, we want to make an REVOLUTION trough dance for our country and for our friends and family!Follow Revolution Family on Facebook and YouTube.
