This same gender salsa duo is here to prove that they have what it takes to be a real threat on World of Dance. Jonathon founded Agapé Dance Company back in 2014 which jump started his success. When he met goal oriented Jorge in 2011, he knew the two would make a dynamic pairing and after just two weeks of training together, they won second place at a World Championship in the Same Gender category. Then in 2018 they placed third overall at the World Salsa Summit. Jonathon and Jorge live by the motto “the journey is just as important as the destination” and although the journey hasn’t always been easy, the struggle has made the destination that much more rewarding.
