How did it feel when you found out you’d be on Season 3?
It felt SURREAL. We couldn't believe that we got in for season 3. I mean, being the FIRST ALL-FILIPINO crew who actually came from the Philippines is one thing, and being in the same league and dancing on the same stage as our idols and dance legends is amazing.
What style are you performing, and why?
We are performing a unique urban choreography style of dance that showcases sharpness, athleticism, texture, lyrical, and most importantly, “surgically clean” precision, as Ne-yo calls it!
How long have you been dancing, or dancing with your group?
Some of us started dancing as early as 10 years old but they started dancing together as a team couple of years ago (2017).What dance clubs/organizations have you been a part of?We are under the umbrella of UPeepz, our bigger brothers and sisters from the Two Time World Champion Megacrew, together with our previous junior team, Lil Peepz, and our adult team, The Peepz.
Where do you draw inspiration from? Who/what inspires you?
We draw inspiration from anything! Our culture, our dance idols (hello Keone, Mari, Kinjaz, etc!), and of course, our teammates and coaches.
What do you think your fans would want to know about you?
We want our fans to know that we are really fun and crazy to be with! We love singing Karaoke, playing computer games, having fun trips before and after competitions, being “hypebeasts” whenever we go abroad and shopping at super cheap outlets, eating at Panda Express, and of course, just being crazy on the dance floor whenever there’s good music!
Why do you think dance is important to the world?
We believe that dance is one of the highest forms of art not just for entertainment, but in terms of inspiration, sending out a message, and making people feel something. Even if we speak different languages and come from different backgrounds, dance unites us because it is universal. Inspiring the youth, especially the marginalized, the less fortunate, and the ones who do not usually get into the limelight that we can dream and actually realise that dream is not just an opportunity but a privilege for us.
What are you most excited/nervous about being on the show?
Advancing from round to round is really nerve wracking! Especially right before the judges give their comments and show the scores! Being against the best of the best in the world is no joke. Getting excited is one thing, but wanting to win that million dollars is another. Going up against the best junior teams and the best upper teams is definitely the thing that gives us the most excitement (and makes us nervous)!
