WOD: What are you most excited/nervous about being on the show?
J: I am most excited to showcase my dancing to the world. I think we bring a new dynamic to the show and I hope observers are able to realize that. With that said, there comes some nerves as well. I do not know how our dancing will be perceived by observers. I really hope they like it, to say the least.M: I’m so excited to be on TV which has been a dream of mine ever since I was akid. The fact that so many people will get to see what Julian and I createdmeans the world to me. I can’t wait to see what the final product looks like. Imextremely nervous to see how people will react. Will they like what Julian and Icreated? I hope people see how much time was put into what we made.https://www.instagram.com/p/Bn9zh6Mnui4/
WOD: What sets you apart from the competition?
J: I think that our fresh movement quality sets us apart from the competition. Moreover, many contestants adhere towards flashy tricks athletic movement; however, we bring the complete opposite, which I believe would set us apart from other contestants.M: What separates Julian and I from the competition is how young we are to becompeting in the Upper Division. He is 17 and I'm 19 so we just barely made thecut. Otherwise we would have been competing against much younger peoplewith less experience. We bring an element of youth and have a newer set ofskills.
WOD: What cause or organization do you care about and would like World of Dance to promote?
M: Bully prevention, as this is something I had to deal with growing up being amale dancer.
