WOD: How did it feel when you found out you’d be on Season 3?
JDC: We were instantly shocked and honored to be chosen! All of our hard work and dedication to our art had paid off and our dreams are coming true!
WOD: What style are you performing, and why?
JDC: Contemporary Fusion. We train in multiple styles like contemporary, ballet, jazz, hip hop, acro, breakdancing. We want to stay true to ourselves on the show and represent ourselves as versatile artists.
WOD: Where do you draw inspiration from? Who/what inspires you?
JDC: Our teachers, our peers, our families. We’re in a constant state of inspiration with all of the beautiful people who surround us each day. They motivate us to believe in ourselves and to work hard to reach our goals and achieve our dreams.
WOD: What do you think your fans would want to know about you?
JDC: We’re obsessed with playing FORTNIGHT!
WOD: Why do you think dance is important to the world?
JDC: Dance is important because it allows you to express yourself in ways words cannot. Everyone needs an outlet for self expression.
WOD: What are you most excited/nervous about being on the show?
JDC: We’re most excited to perform! We’re most nervous for feedback because you never know what the judges will say.
WOD: What sets you apart from the competition?
JDC: Our versatility and physicality. We have trained to develop our technique, style, tricks, partnering, performance quality. The whole package ;)
WOD: What cause or organization do you care about and would like World of Dance to share?
JDC: We have done fundraiser performances for an organization in our area called Community Solutions. They provide critical services for children, teens, adults, and families who are facing times of crisis, ranging from mental health and substance use challenges to domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
