WOD: How did it feel when you found out you’d be on Season 3?
I: We honestly couldn’t believe it and felt so honored and blessed to be a part of this great show. We all cried and celebrated together. It was surreal.
WOD: What style are you performing, and why?
I: Contemporary, this is one of our strongest genres of dance. You can tell your story through the movement of dance.
WOD: How long have you been dancing, or dancing with your group?
I: We have all been dancing since we were 3, but together most of us since the age of 7. Mackenzie and Brianna have only been with us for the past two years!
WOD: Where do you draw inspiration from?
I: We have so many people in the dance field that we draw inspiration from. We travel, and follow the Break the Floor conventions and they have so many teachers that are inspirational for us all. We inspire each other, and our teachers inspire us as well.
WOD: What do you think your fans would want to know about you?
I: That we are each others best friend and we spend all of our time together, even outside the studio. We are serious in the dance room, but we all have our funny sides and like to just have fun.
WOD: Why do you think dance is important to the world?
I: Because no matter how down you are, if you dance, you can work through it. Dance teaches you the grace to handle any situation, even if in the business world. Our studiomotto is DANCE THROUGH LIFE.
WOD: What are you most excited or nervous about being on the show?
I: We are excited just for it to air so our area can see what we have achieved. We arenervous to see how they show us on air though.
WOD: What sets you apart from the competition?
I: We are so precise and clean in our dances, and we have unique tricks and our technique is at the top of the charts.
WOD: Have you won any competitions or titles in the past?
I: We travel to a lot of competitions and conventions. All of us have been up for Best Dancer at the Dance Awards and we have won numerous titles as a group at nationals.
WOD: What cause or organization do you care about and would like World of Dance to promote?
I: We started a program at our dance studio called WE DANCE. It’s a dance class that allows special needs children to have a buddy and learn to dance. They need more programs to be involved in, especially here in Oklahoma.
