WOD: How did it feel when you found out you’d be on Season 3?
DD: We were so excited to show the world all the things we had in store for them!!It’s so surreal to be able to dance in front of three huge artists like JLo, Derek, and Neyo. It’s such big opportunity to share our passion with the world on such huge platform.
WOD: What style are you performing, and why?
We are going to be doing a ballroom fusion. We chose this style because we havebeen doing since we were younger as a group. But keep an eye out, we might be throwing in some extra styles to spice up our game!
WOD: How long have you been dancing, or dancing with your group?
DD: We have been dancing for over 4 years
WOD: Where do you draw inspiration from? Who/What inspires you?
DD: We are an all girl group, so we like to show a lot of girl power in our dancing. Some prime examples of divas who inspire us are Madonna, JLo, Beyoncé, and many others. These ladies really represent what a strong, independent woman looks like, and we hope to be like them as we grow up.
WOD: What are you most excited/nervous about being on the show?
DD: Excited to see how shows really work, nervous about messing up on stage!!
WOD: Why do you think dance is important to the world?
DD: Dance is a universal language that brings the world together. It doesn't need to be translated as it is understood by all. This is the main reason why the power of dance, coupled with music, is so important to the world- it brings people of all types, races, religions together.
WOD: What do you think your fans would want to know about you?
DD: We would want our fans to know that ballroom originally required a male and female to dance together, but since the Divas are an all girls group, we have shown that ballroom can be done without any boys.
