This season was no walk in the park for EPƎK. Faced with numerous setbacks, the crew persisted, working tirelessly toward their goal. When EPƎK was announced as the 1st place Champion, it wasn't just a win; it was a recognition of their dedication, an acknowledgment of their hard work, and a reward for their resilience as a family.

To prepare for the World of Dance Finals, EPƎK embraced the mantra: "HARD WORK, GOOD VIBES." Hours of hard work were invested in mastering choreography, but they also prioritized enjoying the journey. As founding member Yuli Reyes puts it, "We're here for a good time, not a long time." EPƎK understands that success is a blend of hard work and positive vibes—indispensable ingredients for a victorious team.

Validation and Beyond: What Winning Means for EPƎK's Career

EPƎK shared, “Winning the World of Dance title is pure validation for us! Beyond the trophies, it signifies the immense effort our team invested. This 1st place win means the world to EPƎK and ElectrikCITY Dance Movement, symbolizing our journey and progress since 2018. This victory is a collective win for every past and present EPƎK member.”

CLUB EPƎK: A Showstopper at World of Dance Houston

When asked about the most exciting part of being part of the World of Dance Finals, EPƎK replied, “The crowd! Our set, dubbed  CLUB EPƎK was designed not just to compete but also to entertain! Our focus was to give them a show from the jump. As soon as we started, the crowd was already with us and maintained the energy throughout. It made for the most enjoyable experience for our team. Thank you to that crowd at WOD Houston!”
