Dollhouse Dance Factory from NBC World of Dance; Where Are They Now?
The countdown to the premier of World of Dance Season 3 on NBC is drawing to a close with Episode 1 just around the corner! And to celebrate the kickoff of what is sure to be an amazing season, we decided to catch up with a few of the past WOD competitors on how life has been since performing on the big screen. Dollhouse Dance Factory, a 14 member hip hop team from the small town of Sheboygan, Wisconsin sparkled like emeralds when they took the stage in the qualifying rounds of Season 2. We interviewed the team to see how life has been since competing on NBC WOD, here's what they said!
WOD: How did it feel when you found out you’d be on World of Dance
Tears, tears and MORE TEARS! We blacked out!"
WOD: What style did you perform, and why?
Hip-hop, because it is the style we have been training in for several years."
WOD: How long have you been dancing, or dancing together?
We have been dancing together for 6 years
WOD: Do you have a signature move/trick?
Our signature trick is a hammer/headspring
WOD: Why do you think dance is important to the world?
Sharing and expressing your personal message is healing to everyone
WOD: Have you won any competitions or titles?
Yes, we have won multiple national titles. 7 National Championships!
WOD: What was life like after being on World of Dance? Was it any different?
Yes, it raised our self-confidence as dancers
WOD: What are you up to now? (Dance and life)
We are still training very hard. Looking forward to our next experience!
WOD: Would you ever compete in World of Dance again? Why or Why not?
Yes~ It was a great learning experience and we love a good challenge!
