J-Pop Sensation Travis Japan

Special performance at World of Dance Finlas

2025.06.13

World of Dance, the global dance phenomenon, is thrilled to announce that internationally renowned J-pop group Travis Japan will deliver an exclusive live performance at the World of Dance Finals on Saturday, July 20 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Travis Japan, a Japanese boy band managed by STARTO ENTERTAINMENT, made history in 2022 as the first J-pop idol group to compete at World of Dance Championship Week. Their high-energy routines and precise choreography captivated audiences worldwide and aligned with their mission to expand globally. The appearance significantly boosted their international visibility ahead of their official global debut, positioning them as standout performers on a respected global stage and deepening their connection with the international dance community.

"We were so amazed and happy when received this offer from the World of Dance. We even danced a little bit as Travis Japan!

World of Dance is the first competition we entered back in 2022, when we were training in Los Angeles before our major debut.

It brought us so many chances and opportunities that took us where we are as a professional group.

We can’t be more happy to be back at such an important event for us.

Putting together our gratitude and experiences since then into our performance we will do our best to add more excitement at World of Dance.

Returning to U.S. soil amid their massive arena tour in Japan, Travis Japan is set to ignite the stage with one of only three U.S. performances this summer. Their high-energy set at World of Dance Finals will mark a triumphant homecoming to the brand that helped spotlight their global rise.

“When Travis Japan first qualified as dancers at our Los Angeles Regional event in 2022, we were blown away by their talent and drive,” said David Gonzalez, President of World of Dance. “Even then, they had a strong fan base cheering them on—well before they were filling arenas across Asia. To see their evolution into global stars and now welcome them back as headliners is an incredible full-circle moment.”

The announcement comes on the heels of Travis Japan’s historic dual physical single release, “Say I Do” / “Tokyo Crazy Night”, which dropped in March 2025. The lead single “Say I Do” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, their first-ever chart-topping single. With 147,896 copies sold in its first week, the release has solidified their standing as J-pop’s hottest act. Following the physical dual singe, they also released the digital single which serves as the official theme song for Tabekko Doubutsu: THE MOVIE (internationally known as Dream Animals: THE MOVIE), a whimsical animated adventure inspired by the beloved animal-shaped kids' crackers. Adding to the excitement, member Genta lends his voice to the character Lion in this snackable cinematic romp premiering May 1.
